Web Content Designer- £160-210 a day Umbrella- Contract – Watford
My Client has released an exciting opportunity to join their team in Watford as a Content Designer. They are looking to obtain an interim web content author to help support their Watford 2020 transformation program.
It will involve working as part of a project team, translating technical information about services into clear, concise and well-authored web content for residents and customers of the local authority. There will also be a requirement to ensure that the content is organised in a logical and clear way. An excellent command of web content authoring is essential as is the ability to work closely with other members of the project team to understand requirements.
Some Key Responsibilities:
Content designers are responsible for creating, updating and reviewing content around an end-to-end user journey on the councils website and are comfortable using evidence, data and research to inform navigation and copy decisions.
You should be experienced in writing high-quality content focused on the user. This means making complex language and processes simpler for people to understand.
You will be collaborating with specialists in other areas across the council, including project managers, business analysts and policy specialists to make sure our digital services are user friendly and easy to use.
