Technical Administrator x2 – Peterborough – 3-month contract *possible to go perm for 1 position – Full-Time (40 hours per week) – £10.00 p/hr – ASAP Start

STR Group Services are working with a leading client based in Peterborough and we are recruiting for a Technical Administrator x2 on a 3-month contract *possible to go perm for 1 position contract, on a Full-Time basis.

In order to be considered for this position, you must have the following experience and skills;
Ideally from a construction/design/quality/compliance background
Previous experience of document referencing, library and revision control and management

Ideally, we are looking for the following desirable qualities, however these are not essential;
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills desired
Logical and methodical approach to tasks
Quick learner
Accurate typing and input techniques
High level of attention to detail
Self-motivated whilst doing repetitive tasks
Mature outlook

Day to day responsibilities:
Proof reading of technical based documents
Documentation formatting where necessary
Management of document consultation and approval process
Assisting in the planning and development of the current EDMS restructuring project by, categorising, renaming and uploading documents from various electronic sources
Generation of manual KPIs from existing EDMS Systems
Extracting Documentation metadata from existing documents
Adhoc duties including but not limited to hard copy filing etc as identified
General administration tasks, such as scanning, photocopying and transfer and manipulation of electronic data in and to defined locations.
Full on the job training provided, but excellent transferrable IT skills are required.
