Systems Developer – £30.33 per hour umbrella – 3 Month Contract – Basingstoke/hybrid

Our client is large public sector organisation who requires a Systems Developer with SharePoint and Power platform (PowerApps, Power automate) experience. This will be a hybrid role, involving a 60/40 split between supporting existing applications and users, and the remainder designing smaller applications, sites and scripts/flows.


* You will be involved mostly working on BAU/Support such as maintaining the intranet site, but also some project support
* An example of deliverables would be, a creating a new PowerApps (for example, a mini application such as a survey or something that captures form submissions and writes to a SharePoint site or database) or a SharePoint site (for example, supporting Nemo from a technical standpoint). A lot of it will be supporting and enhancing existing applications (SharePoint and PowerApps)
* Responsible for requirements analysis – facilitating workshops to gather requirements and model business processes
* Responsible for system design – designing and documenting the solution design needed to meet customers’ requirements
* Responsible for configuration and customisation – configuring and customising systems according to the requirements and design specifications
* Responsible for testing solutions – In collaboration with test engineers, testing the system to ensure the requirements have been satisfied and in collaboration and effective communication manage customers UAT phases
* Responsible for solution documentation – creating concise technical support documents to facilitate the transition from development to operations and support
* Responsible for third line support – assisting the support team to resolve escalated solution incidents
* Work together with other members of the team to enhance overall knowledge and behaviours through the use of blogs, forums and internal presentations and training
* Accountable for ensuring that all software development is done in an efficient manner to agreed scope and timescales.


* They need to have a good understanding of SharePoint and PowerApps, they should be able to take ownership of tasks and its important they are able to talk to users
* Demonstrate an excellent commitment to customer service and continuous service improvement. Ensuring that a positive customer experience is delivered at all times
