Service Operations Team Leader
Camden, London – Permanent – £45k /pa (+ up to £7k skillset pay)

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Team Leader to join the Operations Team within a large public transport organisation based in the Camden, London.
The role will require you to provide leadership in coordinating, assessing, developing and communicating recovery environment requirements and contingency plans associated with my clients’ IT Services, Applications and Infrastructure Services.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

* Ensuring that the Technology Department fully understand the Disaster Recovery Requirements of the business, enabling recommendations to enable timely, effective decisions regarding hardware and software planning.

* Responsible managing Datacentre Service Operations, Capacity and Service Monitoring functions for the business Services on behalf of the Technology Department. Role is required to have hands-on experience for managing monitoring services used within the business.

* Assume management responsibility for Data Centre and Network Recovery planning efforts, Service Operations, and leading capacity planning coordination and testing within technology to support business units in current and future activities.

* You will have experience of working in Agile, Lean teams, cooperating closely with the Product Owner to schedule and resource the development and support efforts. The team is supporting services and delivering to the requirements

* Digital Policing and the overall Vision & Digital Strategy of the Technology department.

* The planning and implementation of organisation wide processes and procedures for the management of risk to the success or integrity of the business, especially those arising from the use of information technology, reduction or non-availability of energy supply or inappropriate disposal of materials, hardware or data.

To be suitable for this opportunity; the following qualifications or experience is required:

* Minimum Degree Level Education or equivalent
* Expert in ITIL – Disaster Recovery (essential)
* Previous experience in a leadership position within a large organisation
* Ideal candidate will hold a high skillset in Leadership, Consultancy, Business risk management and Stakeholder relationship management
