The Business
We are supporting the recruitment needs of one of the UK’s largest rail infrastructure programmes. They are seeking a Resourcing Co-Ordinator to join them from end of January 2022 for an initial 3 month contract. This role with be based out of Snow Hill, Birmingham on a hybrid working pattern with the possibility for extension for the postholder.

The Role
The Resourcing Co-Ordinator will work alongside 2 other Recruitment Co-Ordinator’s within a busy recruitment team. The key activities will be managing a high volume of interview scheduling and proactively managing Background Checking for new hires, together with general recruitment administration. The role will involve extensive liaising with internal stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities
§ Liaising with Candidates, line managers and our 3rd party Background Screening provider to ensure background checks progress in a timely manner and there are no unnecessary delays to get individuals started with the business.

* With 2 other Recruitment Co-ordinators, own responsibility for the end to end interviewing booking process for a high volume of open vacancies, ensuring candidates and hiring managers have an excellent experience of the interview process.

§ Keeping Interview database up to date and updating other admin trackers (eg Interview tracker) so that data can be extracted for reporting purposes and there is a record of all interviews booked that matches the Applicant Tracking System (Taleo).

* Manage the external facing Recruitment mailbox, responding timely to queries in a clear, professional and service-orientated manner;

* Verify candidate Right to Work documentation and store documents appropriately in line with GDPR;

* Manage activities associated with travel for the recruitment team,

* Managing confidential and sensitive materials;

Experience, Skills & Qualifications required

* Previous experience of providing high level administration to a recruitment function, including managing workload and meeting deadlines
* Experience using ATS (Applicant Tracking systems)
* Highly organised with a methodical way of working
* Good stakeholder management and facilitation skills
