Project Manager (Business Management)- Permanent- Full time- Birmingham- Salary £47450-59300

My Client has released an exciting opportunity, to join their team on a permanent basis. The main purpose will be to deliver assigned projects and provide Project Management support to the Programme Director with a focus on Business Management. You will be responsible for; delivery of special or continuous improvement projects, Area business planning and workforce planning, programme governance and development of area wide plans and procedures.
Main accountabilities:
Lead, review and influence subject matter experts to deliver special projects or continuous improvement projects on behalf of the Programme Director
Working with the relevant functions to monitor, improve and advise on the programme with regards to time, cost, resources, quality and safety in support of the Programme Director.
Responsible for producing the Area Management Plan and other Area level documentation
Manage the business planning process, keeping to company timescales for the delivery of annual business plans and maintaining compliance with the Phase One workforce plan
Assure that the management of health, safety and security (HS&S) by the appointed supply chain meets the required standard
Collaborate and support teams embedded within the various delivery partners to deliver the project deliverables
Assimilate, manage and present complex information
Act as the first point of contact for outside of Area requests for information or new areas of work before they have an Area lead
Provide support on the creation of materials for both internal and external audiences including reports and briefings on behalf of the Programme Director as required. In addition, provide area information when required to the Managing Directors office

Knowledge of governance and assurance

Experience of project and programme management delivery techniques supported by a relevant qualification
Experience of governance and assurance activities
Experience of business planning and workforce planning
Experience of Change Management
Experience of supporting the business activities of a multi-disciplined project team
