I am looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated procurement officer to promote procurement strategy, policy and function across a world renowned charity in London.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Someone who has proven experience and can deliver high quality work with minimum supervision is essential for this role, as they will be stepping in to support the contract and procurement manager who is moving to part-time.
The role will include ensuring that procurement practices in contract management, tendering and spend management are sought for efficiently, whilst exploring opportunities and using proven knowledge of purchasing power and benchmarking to negotiation to reduce risk. You will have to use an analytical approach in order to problem solve, whilst also using initiative to challenge constructively if needed.
There is importance on the willingness to learn, whether this be collaboratively or independently; with determination being a key quality.
Work Experience Requirements:
* Proven experience working in a procurement environment.
* Proven experience of working constructively and collaboratively with colleagues from different teams.
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills including: Excel, Word and Outlook, with a working knowledge of SharePoint.
* Literacy, Numeracy and IT skills
* Communication skills and time management
This is a permanent post that provides a base salary of £30,100 per annum plus benefits.
