PMO Manager-Social Care System
PMO Manager- Social care system- 1 month contract- Dudley- £400 a day umbrella
Our client are a large public sector organisation looking for an experienced PMO Manager to join them on a social care system replacement.
The main purpose of the role will be to manage Programme Governance against agreed standards for the Programme including supporting the Programme Board, Design Authority and Programme Gateways, and tracking and reporting on progress, risks and issues and compliance with standards.
Other responsibilities will include;
-Set up Programme and Project controls and processes and train staff in the Programme Team. These will include:
-A monthly governance and reporting cycle across the Governance Structure. Including development of the Highlight Report and Governance pack.
-Monitoring progress against Plan (includes tracking Agile Sprints) through ensuring that project teams are updating their controls.
-Facilitating Project Quality Reviews
-Maintaining the Product (Deliverables) Register
-Maintaining the Risk Register (RAID)
-Managing the Change Control Process
-Updating and tracking the Programme Action Log
-Updating the Programme Decision Log
-Responsible for Configuration Management – document library/version control
-Supporting resource planning and tracking
-Manage the Benefit Register
-Providing budget administration for the Programme
-Responsible for Project Management Standards & Document Templates
-Gateway Preparation and evidence collation
-Designing and working with developers to create the Programme SharePoint Site
To be considered you will have experience as a PMO Manager/Senior Analyst with a demonstrable track record on a similar sized Programme, in both the design, development and implementation of PMO best practice and running PMO’s and Programme Governance.
