Operations Excellence Coordinator
A client of ours in Daventry is looking for an Operations Excellence Coordinator to join their team, the role involves communicating with line managers and production lines and overseeing parts delivery to Kent. Where parts have been flagged as missing (which will potentially stop the production line) investigating why a part wasn’t received ie consulting photographic audits (all parts are photographed before loading) and generally being the contact in terms of overseeing paperwork to rectify.
The role is very heavy on the customer service and admin side although it would also require someone who is able to delve, investigate issues, propose new processes and improvements and someone who is quite assertive.
The role is a coordination role and involves communication as well as the office based reporting and admin side, a key element will involve going into the warehouse to communicate and move forward escalations, queries and investigate issues therefore the successful candidate will need to be happy to be on their feet.
Duties:

* Collate statistical information
* Weekly reporting – reasonable Excel require – pivots can be taught however
* Presenting information in a form that is easily interpreted and aids communication. (Photo audits)
* Maintaining of information in Database
* Effective communication between DAV and various departments in Kent
* Communicate effectively with Materials, Line, Quality etc at Cummins DAV
* Responding and anticipating customer requirements and needs
* Highlighting of potential improvements and customer requirements
* Managing Returns
* Movement of parts
* Documentation and keeping up to date all working processes (WI)
* Experience in an SLA driven environment

Essential Skills:

* Proven site level experience in customer processes
* Demonstrable skills in recent roles of enhancing processes / efficiencies
* Reasoning and decision making- able to demonstrate this ability in previous roles
* IT literate, data minded, able to analyse data, reasonable Excel skills
* Time management and organisation skills
* Relationship and customer relationship management
