On-site Recruitment Manager

This is a full-time on-site position reporting to the Account Director, with prime responsibility for client relationship management, HR interviewing, the recruitment process and candidate attraction channels.

The recruitment is predominantly permanent focussed, but will also include a level of knowledge based contract roles. Candidates will be generated through direct and recruitment agency channels.

Day to day activities will involve stakeholder management, vacancy qualification and sign off, vacancy strategy determination, vacancy release, HR interviewing, and the co-ordination of all recruitment related activity. Everything will be recorded on the systems provided and delivered in accordance with programme objectives and SLA’s.

Continuous improvement initiatives and project work will also be undertaken where time. Examples of value-added activities are such as benchmarking services, the candidate journey, employer branding, and engaging with institutions for graduate and transferable skill sets.

Please note: This is NOT a traditional on-site recruitment or talent acquisition role. It is a recruitment process management and development position with the focus on ensuring delivery through recruitment partners. Active recruitment sourcing is expected to be a minor part of this position, on an ‘as and when required’ basis.

The successful candidate will have a background gained in RPO/MSP delivery or the provision of on-site HR or recruitment services. They may have run a stand-alone account, managed a small on-site team, or been part of a larger team delivering recruitment services. This is an opportunity for the successful candidate to manage the account on-site, reporting back to STR Group Head Office.

Ideally, they will have experience of delivering to customers within STEM related industries, and have successfully managed vacancies in a technical and professional services environment. Through building strong manager and supplier relationships, they will ensure an accurate information flow between all parties, and drive the vacancy strategy and sourcing channels to deliver against targets and SLA’s. Reports, Presentations and Review Meetings will be conducted in unison with the off-site Account Director.

The candidate could also have experience of being embedded within a customer HR department, performing the HR element of an interview, and taking over the transactional elements of the recruitment process, saving the hiring managers time. Additional experience of engagement with universities and employer branding programmes may be an advantage.
