Learning and Development Consultant- Chichester/Hybrid- 10 month contract- £400 a day umbrella
Our client are a large government body looking for an experience L&D consultant to join their small team to focus on the development of a niche directorate within social care.
You will be responsible for the whole learning cycle from understanding, defining, and planning L&D needs, through to ensuring effective evaluation reports are produced. The only difference to a standard L&D role is that you will not be delivering L&D solutions but instead collaborating with colleagues to make this happen via internal L&D Officers or external consultants.
We are looking for someone who has a background in the strategic side of Learning and Development and who has the following skills;
Ability to undertake a learning needs analysis and prioritise needs.
– Ability to listen to a client’s requirement, diagnose the salient problem, research the issues, engage the appropriate colleagues and partners, offer a range of viable solutions and gain buy-in within agreed delivery timescales.
-Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence others and communicate information which may be complex and sensitive, along with good interpersonal skills.
– Excellent people management skills.
-Strong partnership working skills and the ability to manage resistance to make things happen in a timely way.
