Head of Planning Office- Milton Keynes – 6 Month Contract- £450 per day LTD / Umbrella

My client has released an exciting opportunity to join their team in Milton Keynes as a Head of Planning Office.

Essential Skills:
*Strong project management and analytical skills, with a track record of coordinating the planning of complex programmes in a quickly changing environment
*Leadership skills with the ability to set direction and motivate their team against common and corporate goals
*Proven capability in managing the requirements, planning and deployment of resource across portfolios, programmes and projects in a large, matrix-managed organisation
*Strong conceptual and quantitative analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues across diverse portfolios
*Strong stakeholder skills with the willingness and ability to maintain strong working relationships with a wide range of senior stakeholders
*Demonstrable verbal and written communication skills

Desirable Skills:
*Familiarity with enterprise project portfolio management software tools (preferably MS Projects Online) and other reporting tools to maintain and query disparate strands of portfolio and programme planning
*Project management qualifications, preferably MSP and / or MOR , or the willingness to acquire the required skills

Although this position is based in Milton Keynes it may involve some travel into the office in London.

To be considered for this position you must be SC Cleared and there is no sponsorship offered.

The rate for this position is £450 per day LTD / Umbrella. The position is available full time covering Monday – Friday.

The role is based within Milton Keynes.
