Planning Enforcement Manager- Waltham Forest- 3 month contract- £225 a day umbrella

Our client are a large public sector organisation currently recruiting a Planning Enforcement Project Manager to handle a wide range of planning enforcement investigations specifically drawn to attention through the Private Rented Property Licensing Team.

The recent introduction of the private rented licensing scheme means that every privately rented home must apply for a private rented property license.
We need a Planning Enforcement Project Manager who is experienced in investigating breaches of planning legislation, who is motivated and enthusiastic to join our Planning Enforcement Team.
Essentially this will involve the reactive and pro-active enforcing of breaches of planning control including unauthorised developments, flat conversions, beds in sheds and unauthorised changes of use and any subsequent appeals.

-The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all the cases specifically referred to us by the Private Rented Property Licensing Team, investigating them and taking appropriate action in a timely manner.
-The successful candidate will have worked in planning/planning enforcement within a Local Authority and will have an in-depth knowledge of the relevant legislation and planning rules.

Candidates will be required to bring their own personal protective equipment.
