Digital Project Manager – 12 Month FTC – £33,904 – £37,204 per annum – UK Wide
Our client is looking for a Digital Project Manager to join them on a 12 month FTC, this is a UK wide role and would require 1-2 days in the office per week (London, Edinburgh, Cardiff or Manchester). As the Digital Project Manager you will be responsible for managing projects in the departments portfolio of customer-facing digital initiatives.
Responsibilities:
* To plan, implement and manage multiple several high visible projects simultaneously using agile methods in a fast-paced environment that may cross multiple business functions.
* To be a key member of the Digital team and be accountable for project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; organise and lead project status and team meetings; prepare and distribute highlight reports; manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and perform delivery planning for assigned projects.
* The jobholder will be responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating agile project teams. Coaching members of these teams/stakeholders as needed to optimize the efficiency of the project.
* To regularly report to project stakeholders and sponsors on progress.
* To initiate, develop and maintain effective relationships and engagement with owners and stakeholders.
* The jobholder will use his/her deep knowledge of project management techniques/agile methodologies to decide the most appropriate to deploy against specific project.
* To project-manage large, web-based content management systems with software and editorial teams based around the world.
* The jobholder will use excellent knowledge of the software development life-cycle to manage projects to deadline and in line with global editorial requirements.
* To be able to use relevant software for planning delivering and reporting of projects.
The Person:
* Experience managing digital projects.
* Knowledge of Agile Project Management as well as traditional project management principles and practices.
* Sponsor/ Stakeholder engagement experience.
* Ability to manage change and deviations along with the life cycle of a project.
* MS Project or similar planning tools experience.
* Experience creating and updating Word Reports, Excel Templates and PowerPoint Presentations.
* Experience of backlog tracking, burnout metrics, velocity and task definition.
