Connection Coordinator – Maidstone

STR Group are working with a leading power infrastructure provider in the UK and we are looking for inbound call handlers to be based in Maidstone.

In order to be considered you should have previous experience of telesales or call handling. Excellent customer service skills. Be IT literate. Ability to plan and communicate to both customers and engineers. Ideally you will have some experience within the energy, utility or facilities sector (not essential for this role).

The position is helping customers get metered access to electricity to their homes. You will be registering these customers, providing quotes, arranging site visits, taking payment and then booking engineer visits. You will be the single point of contact for the customer through this journey with our client.

The role is based in Maidstone and is a full-time position working 37 hours per week, working Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.00am to 6pm.

Initially working on a temporary contract for a 4 month period, with a permanent position then following.

Pay for this position is £11.95 per hour with permanent salary at £23,000 after that.
