STR Group are pleased to consider applications for the position of Community Physiotherapist working for our client based in Cambridgeshire on a Permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be registered with the HCPC registered Physiotherapist and have post-registration experience.
You will need to have the following essential skills and experience for the position; a qualification at degree level (or equivalent) in Physiotherapy. Experience of working in an acute care setting. UK experience as a registered Physio. Hold a full UK driving licence.
We are also looking for the following desirable skills, but are not essential for the position; previous experience of working in a community or field based setting.
The position is working for a leading private healthcare company, delivering a range of treatments to patients in their homes following being discharged from hospitals. This is a field based role and you will need to be organised and be competent in your own clinical skills. You will be supported by your manager and the company provide training to keep you updated. The role will involve:
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing acute healthcare to patients completing their acute episode of care in their own home.
You will have the benefit of applying your acute skills on a one to one basis with patients in their home, giving patients dedicated time and attention.
You will holistically assess patients using clinical, investigative and analytical skills.
Formulate and carry out patient-centred, goal orientated treatment plans, utilising a variety of techniques and skills.
Ensure patients personal targets/objectives are achieved and maximise their function and level of independent living.
Educate and advise patients and relatives/carers in the correct use of equipment to maximise independence and avoid accidents or injury.
Accurately documenting all patient care and clinical information to provide real time data and clinical history to ensure quality care is maintained and delivered.
Maintain and demonstrate up to date knowledge, ensuring any gaps in clinical competency are addressed whilst also staying compliant with all business policies and procedures.
This is a Full-time Permanent position working 37.5 per week working in Cambridgeshire.
The salary for this position is between £26,000 and £32,000 and is dependent on experience and suitability for the position. On top of this is benefits that include
