Commercial Category Business Administrator
£2,600 to £2,800
I have an 18 month contract based in Reading for a Commercial Category Business Administrator. This role is paying between £31,000 and £33,600 per annum and working for an exciting tech giant. There is availability to have some flexi working and work from home 1 or 2 days a week.
Support the Commercial Category Manager across the 3 product areas (Windows 10 Pro Devices, Windows Server and New Education Devices) by delivering a business administration service that allows the team to deliver projects/KPI on time and focused on growing the business.
Top 3 must have skills:
Strong Reporting skills / background
Confident communicator (f2f, written and over telcoms)
Experience/understanding of commercial processes and rhythm of business.
Attend appropriate category meetings (skype or f2f) with colleagues and or partners and take notes. Work closely with the Category and Marketing Leads to ensure the program of activities are flowing and keep the category master plan up to date accordingly. Interface with teams across CDS to ensure commercial resources are landing in the community. Work with finance to ensure the OI/PO process are working well alongside the Category/Marketing planning process to ensure we spend every dollar! Supply any reporting required by the Corp team and stay on top of emails!
– Finance Tracking
Manage the investment tracker for the commercial category and keep it up to date
Organize and chase IO’s from Corp and process PO’s to ensure we can deliver on time
Monthly review meetings with finance to ensure the investment process is on track
Ensure POE is delivered on time & ROI is calculated and shared
– Pipeline Reporting
Consolidated list of compete opportunities & actions
Consolidated list of device deals from GSMO & actions
– Monthly Reporting
Ensure Monthly/Quarterly Server revenue is forecasted correctly (inc DC mix and Cal attach)
Ensure Corp Monthly Data Packs are delivered on time ready for review sessions.
Consolidate the regions OneInsights content ready for the pipecall
Track pricing in the Education market hero devices.
Ensure RTB weekly meetings are well organized.
Share KPI performance headline reporting with the wider UK team (Ireland, BG etc)

Keep Commercial Category 6-month activity plan up to date.
Update the Product Portfolio heat map with the latest data and top models.
Support the creation and management of the Jarmony reporting plans.
Coordinate the SMM (seasonal marketing meeting) process to ensure meetings are effective (well prepared for, correctly attended and with clear actions).
Create consolidated reports of activity and insight to share with the Corp team.
Organize category events (such as Now and Next our commercial partner summit).
