Business Support Officer – £15- £18ph LTD- Contract for 5 months – Northampton

My client has released an exciting opportunity to join their team in Northampton as a Business Support Officer. to manage a team to provide an effective, efficient administrative service that is flexible to meet the needs of the operational teams, applyIing to the client’s policies, procedures and systems to enable the achievement of service objectives.

Some main responsibilities: To lead and manage a team of administrative staff across the cluster to deliver high quality and customer focused support services that facilitate the achievement of the team and service goals by ensuring workloads are allocated appropriately across the team to action.

-To work closely with the senior management team to support the preparation of briefing papers (including referring to and interpreting statistical data), reports, communications and presentations, undertaking research where necessary, and ensuring tasks and actions related to this task are completed accurately and to agreed timelines and format.

To work collaboratively with management colleagues to contribute and deliver against the management team agenda and business plan to enable achievement of service objectives.

– To manage the delivery of a range of administrative services i.e. front desk services, meetings management, maintenance of information and database systems. To maximise the use of digital technology systems (including Microsoft office packages) and other services to enable operational management and staff to achieve their service/and personal objectives.

– To work with senior management to monitor contract performance to report on outcomes achieved against performance criteria, preparing reports to highlight achievements and variances.
– To develop and enhance capability within the team and service with the use of organisational systems and processes, providing expertise to deliver a first point of call to support and train all staff within services to utilize these systems, in so doing to work closely and collaboratively with corporate teams.
