Business Improvement Analyst
Chehsire, CW11 | £350 Day Umbrella | 1 YEAR Contract | Full Time | Start ASAP

Role Outline
To support the implementation of a series of Business Improvement diagnostics in high profile business areas and process redesign work packages commissioned within project and programme frameworks.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

* Facilitate cross functional teams in a matrix environment and deploy a range of business analysis tools and techniques in the pursuit of positive business outcomes. Motivate and coach team members to develop business improvement skills and affect cultural change.
* Deploy a range of business analysis tools and techniques appropriate to the situation (e.g. Lean/Six Sigma/Business Process Re-engineering/ Systems thinking) and apply a flexible approach tailored to each business situation
* Support the planning, management and control of business improvement interventions from the scoping stage to the delivery of agreed business change.
* Support the business area to ensure that business benefits are identified, forecast and delivered using robust data and benefits realisation management tools and techniques. Ensure that key data is managed appropriately to enable accurate baseline, forecasting and tracking the delivery of benefits.
* Support the development of robust business cases and effectively communicate a compelling case for change to senior managers, elected members and staff working in the business area. Actively promote change within the business area and support stakeholders on their change journey.
* Lead the identification, gathering, interpretation and communication of key data using appropriate tools and techniques (e.g. Run charts/Histograms).

To be suitable for this position you will need to hold the following:

* Degree in relevant subject with strong understanding of at least 1 analysis technique (Lean/Six Sigma/Business Process Re-engineering/Systems Thinking)
* Experience of leading teams in a Matrix Management environment and delivering business analysis techniques across a range of business scenarios.
* Background working on projects & some change management techniques
* Local authority or government experience – Very Beneficial & Ideal
